The Big Sway is a hard hitting experiment in funky, groove-based rhythms, delivered with the urgency and DIY energy of punk rock.
Featuring Mike Grenier on drums, and founding front-men, Joe MacFadzen on bass and Tim Zucco on guitar, The Big Sway is wild and experimental rock’n’roll, intended to inspire movement, mischief, mayhem, and pure reckless fun in their live show.
Since the band’s conception in the summer of 2007, The Big Sway has released two EPs, played countless shows throughout the New England area, worked their way onto the local festival scene, wrote, directed, and released an official music video, and continued to build a reputation for themselves as hard-working, hard-playing and hard-partying purveyors of rock’n’roll.
With their two releases, 2011’s “The Cheese EP”, and 2012’s “GODDAMN!” under their belts, The Big Sway is currently looking ahead at their first full-length record, and playing bigger and better shows all the time.
