There is nothing quite like Dirty Sanchez. The connecticut-based power-jam band is wow-ing audiences with their energetic and eclectic mix of rock styles, humorous lyrics, and effects driven jamming. Imagine if Phish, Zappa, and Pink Floyd had a three-way and the result was a lovechild, and that lovechild started dating Wilco and got pregnant but had to bring They Might Be Giants and Primus on the Maury show to find out who’s the baby’s daddy. Well, the kid picking his nose on the screen behind Maury would be Dirty Sanchez.

The band’s songs are inventive, quirky, and carefully constructed. Pivot Man shows the band’s heavy use of sonic texture to move the listener out of song and into experience. Other songs, such as King of Beers, show the band’s playful lyrics and ability to get the crowd singing. Dirty Sanchez is consistently looking to push the boundaries of rock and roll performance. The band consists of: Mark Crino driving up the bass frequencies, Matt Splain rockin the tasty outer space guitar riffs, and James Anderson on the drums gluing it all together.
