New York City blues legend Charlie Hilbert has played the blues for forty years – from his time in the streets of NYC with harmonica master, Nat Riddles, to his recent performances with Adam Gussow, headlining MUNDHARMONIKALIVE in Klingenthal, Germany; and teaching and playing at HILL COUNTRY HARMONICA in Oxford, Miss.
Charlie has played with and opened for many legends including James Cotton, Duke Robillard, B.B. King, Sonny Rhodes, Blues Traveler, Crosby, Stills and Nash, Maria Muldaur, Nazareth and many others. He has also played an impressive list of festivals and hundreds of clubs, worldwide.
He has recorded on the prestigious Spivey Label and on the Modern Blues Harmonica Label.
