Strong and Pleasant Music Festival celebrates the Western Mass music scene with multi-venue event in Downtown Northampton June 6-8th

The Buzz, A Honey Pot Production is proud to announce the first STRONG and Pleasant Music Festival taking place June 6th, 7th, and 8th in Downtown Northampton, MA, the heart of the Western Mass music scene.  The three day event will feature over 40 acts in multiple venues, including The Sierra Grille (home of Reanimate the Bay State), Bishop’s Lounge, The Dirty Truth, Progression Brewing Company, new venue Majestic Saloon, Le BonN’ton and a few surprises TBA. Downtown Northampton businesses, ranging from boutiques to bars, breweries to restaurants, form the backdrop of this grassroots music festival which celebrates the powerful, original music scene that is Western Massachusetts.

STRONG and Pleasant celebrates the streets in Western Mass that have been central to local original live music, Strong Avenue and Pleasant Street in Northampton MA. The festival is in the spirit of the original Northampton Music Festival, from the late 90’s, created by beloved late promoter,  Donal B. Rooke, who passed in December 2018. The weekend’s lineup is stacked with an abundance of Western Mass music and regional talent hailing from Canada, Boston and New York, all converging in Downtown Northampton MA.

The STRONG and Pleasant Music Festival is the natural next step in furthering the The Buzz’s mission of celebrating unsigned, independent artists coming out of the 413 area.
