Esperanto is an original, dynamic, and groovy Alternative Blues/Rock band from Westfield Mass. Formed in the summer of 2014 they quickly recorded a 3 song EP and immediately started getting airplay on Lazer 99.3 Locals Only. Esperanto has been playing shows around New England and rocking audiences with their unique style of vintage/modern rock ‘n’ roll!

The name Esperanto comes from the “universal” language called Espereanto, it was written in 1887 but never really caught on with the general public. The straight translation of the word means “one who hopes”. We figure music is a universal language and we hope to make this into something cool, so that’s where the name comes from.
